Daidone Silvio

FAO

Silvio Daidone has been an Econometrician at FAO since 2012. He was Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Economics at University of York, UK. He holds a PhD in Econometrics and Empirical Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is specialized in impact evaluation, productivity and efficiency analysis. He has significant experience in the design and analysis of impact evaluations of social protection programs and rural development interventions. As part of the Transfer Project, Silvio studied how cash transfers affect livelihoods of beneficiary households, their productive activities, labour allocation, risk management, and food security and nutrition.

The Italian Center for International Development (ICID)

The Italian Center for International Development (ICID), hosted by CEIS University of Rome Tor Vergata, is an entity that involves Centers and Departments of four Italy based public universities:

The Centre’s mission is to promote a better understanding of development challenges in an increasingly globalized world, through an inter-disciplinary approach.

ICID’s design and composition provide it with a unique capacity for state-of-the-art research addressing the many interconnected development issues facing today’s globalized world.
