On Friday, October 13, at 3:00 pm EST, ICID’s director od research Furio Rosati attended a public panel discussion on the impact of migration on Europe, hosted by the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) in collaboration with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).</p>

The event took place at CSIS headquarters in Washington DC, during the week of the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings, and focused on the current global migration challenge and how to develop a long-term strategy making migration flows sustainable and beneficial for our societies. The panel, introduced by Daniel F. Runde (CSIS expert) and Laura Frigenti (Director of AICS), also benefited from the contributions of Jonathan Prentice (Chief of Staff for the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for International Migration at the United Nations), and Father Richard Ryscavage, (School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University).</p>
