The impact of migration on Europe

ICID joins the Center for Strategic International Studies to talk about a sustainable approach to migration

On Friday, October 13, at 3:00 pm EST, ICID’s director Furio Rosati will participate in a public panel discussion of the impact of migration on Europe, hosted by the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) in collaboration with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS). The event takes place at CSIS headquarters in Washington DC,  during the week of the IMF - World Bank Annual Meetings.

Rosati will discuss about how to develop an effective and sustainable approach to migration together with Laura Frigenti (Director for AICS), Sir Paul Collier (Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Oxford), Jonathan Prentice (Chief of Staff for the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for International Migration at the United Nations), Father Richard Ryscavage, (School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University), and Daniel F. Runde, (William A. Schreyer Chair and Director, Project on Prosperity and Development, CSIS).
