Ilaria Tedesco

IFAD

Ilaria Tedesco is Capacity Development Specialist for the Platform for Agricultural Risk Management (PARM), a multi-donor initiative hosted the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Rome. From 2014-2016, she worked as economist  at Natural Resources Institute (NRI, University of Greenwich) on development, agriculture and commodity markets. Before, she worked as Policy Officer at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on cost-benefit analysis, agricultural commodities value chain studies, and policy impact analysis. She conducted her work in Paraguay, Nigeria, Turkey, Oman, Mauritius, Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda, Liberia, Senegal, Ethiopia. She received her PhD in Economics from University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2013. She was visiting student at School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), Columbia University during 2010-2011.
